Overview of SAP ERP Project Clients

310- Sandbox Client

SAP Consultants are given access to a sandbox client to test and simulate business scenarios. SAP Consultants use this client for self-practice.

320: Configuration Client

The configuration process follows the business plan. This client is the one that designed the project. This client is where the enterprise structure base configuration and final configuration are completed. Another name for this client is Golden Client.

330: Development Test Customer

The project is developed by SAP specialists who also carry out testing. Testing is done using the business process master list (BPML) for both unit and integration testing.

210: Client Testing

The core team member or module lead (an employee of the organization) prepares the testing sheet and conducts the testing. Reports are checked and post-transaction testing is done.

220-Quality Testing

The organization is shown every step of the business process, and its SAP consultants administer the User Acceptance Test (UAT). Obtaining company approval for the business process is known as UAT.

230: Client Training

The training document is followed when conducting end user training. Training materials are created based on employees' job profiles and assigned roles.

100- Production Client

The production customer project has reached its go live stage. On this client, the real business is operated. Every employee uses their own user ID and password to log in to this client and log their daily business transactions.
