- Internal reporting defines the business region. Every business area can have its own profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
- The business area is specified, but the company code is not applied to it.
- The company code is used to post accounting entries to the business area.

- SPRO>>Display IMG>> Enterprise Structure>> Definition>> Financial Accounting>> Create Business Area. Check screenshots.
- Now Click on New Entries Option and input your Business Area Field (max four digits Alphanumeric Value) and Description field as per screenshots.
- At last click on Save Button and press enter. See Screenshot
- Congratulation! You have successfully created Business Area for your SAP MM Real Time Project in ECC 6.0 version.
- Now If you want to check your Business Area then you have to Click on the Position button and enter your business Area as per the screenshot.
