{OVXB*} Create Division in SAP MM ECC 6.0 & S/4 HANA Project

Hello Friends, today we are providing here how to create division in SAP ECC & S/4 HANA Implementation Project. It is created by SAP FI (Finance) Team in real time scenarios. Just read all the below provided instructions before creating Division in SAP.

Division: The division is one of the organizational units in Sales & Distribution and is also required for business area account assignment for logistics transactions in Financial Accounting.

>>- The business area for the material is determined via the plant and the division defined in the material master record.

>>- Allocate a division to one or more sales organizations.

>>- Allocate a division to one or more distribution channels.

>>- Allocate a business area to a division from a plant. This way, business area account assignment can be carried out for transactions in Materials Management.

>>- Material is always assigned to one division only. You specify the division on the first sales & distribution screen in the material master record.

{OVXB*} Create Division in SAP MM ECC 6.0 & S/4 HANA Project

  • First, you have to log in to your SAP ECC Account through your USER ID & PASSWORD.
  • After that, there are two ways to create Division SAP ERP Database
  • The first method is by using Transaction Code (T-Code) OVXB in the command field.
  • The second method is by using SAP Menu Path as per provided screenshots a & b.

  • After that click on New Entries and enter any two digit Alphanumeric Value in division like o1 and give Name (description) Electricals.
  • At last Click on Save button.
  • Congratulation Your division has been updated in SAP ERP Database

  • All the steps are the same as per the above provided but here we provided the screenshot of S/4 Hana 1909 Create Division screen
